Verne Q. Powell Flutes
Verne Q. Powell Flutes was founded in 1927 by Verne Powell to provide professional flutists with custom made precious metal flutes. The first 10 flutes made by Mr. Powell were owned by some of the most famous American flutists of the time, including William Kincaid, Arthur Lora and John Wummer. Their flute makers continue a tradition of craftsmanship and a devotion to making the highest quality instruments. They employ a strategic combination of hand crafting, technology and a little bit of magic to create instruments which free the flutist to explore their musicality.
